There are utilitites such as showacls and dumpsec from Somar that can
enumerate permissions for documentation, but to actually back up permissions
in a way to restore I believe you need to rely on a backup utility such as
the one built into W2K. You can also use secedit as described in KB link
below to restore W2K to default ntfs permissions. You could also create an
..inf template to use with secedit to apply additional predetermined
ntfs/registry permissions. --- Steve
