Other users on the network tried to use my database for
the first time, but it was read only. Now I've secured
myself out of the database by running the security wizard.

How do I log on as a system administrator to change the
security

All users need full permissions (windows permissions) on the folder where
the mdb is.

You don't mention the version, but recent ones create a desktop shortcut as
part of running the wizard. Can you open the database via that?

You would log in using the user/password you created that was a member of
the Admins group.
