Hi folks,
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why each time
I log on I get an alert yellow message saying my computer
might be at risk and the reason that my windows firewall
could be off. I checked carefully and I know is on. I
have norton systemworks professional 2004 and everything
on it is up to date and working properly. Can someone
help me with this issue pls, I appreciate it.

Hi,

Have you attempted un-installing Norton's and perfomring a re-installation
or subsequently install XP Service Pack 2 and use the built in Windows
firewall :-)

Regards,
Kit

Hi

After installing XP Service Pack 2, the message "Your computer might
be at risk . . . " appears
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...613?OpenDocument&tpre=&csm=no&src=con_web_nam

and

http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/sp2/faq.html

http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/sp2/support_doc.html

If you are not able to get the warning to go away, you can
turn it off manually:

Control Panel/Security Center, click on the "Change the Way Security
Center Notifies Me" link in the left pane.
