I want to be able to temporarily change an person's homepage when they
connect to my network and show an "Acknowledgement of internet use"
page prior to them being able to access the internet, and if they don't
agree to the terms I've set forward they can't access the internet. Is
there any way this can be done?

Hi Kaamp,

You can't change a users 'Homepage' without their permission (the setting is
on their hard drive). Suggest you visit a porn site to see how they validate
access to 'Persons over 18 years of age'

Other considerations are that visitors will see the pages that they have
visited on your site in their History and so will be able to navigate to
those pages without going through your Acknowledgement page.

It ain't so simple afterall.

Regards.

I was thinking more like A how the WiFi hot spots work... Starbucks for
example redirects you to their Main site to purchase "WiFi" time to use
for their hotspot. This is more or less what I would like to do minus
the purchasing.

Hi Kaamp,

Your default homepage for your site is set with your Web Server Management
console. Usually the default homepage is index.htm or default.htm but you
can set it to what ever you want. eg say you type in the address
www.microsoft.com..... the first page you see is default.aspx even though
your address bar says that you are at www.microsoft.com.

Suggest you hire a programmer. This is very basic stuff.

Regards.
