Hello
I have a database that I access off our network. Using the
user-level security wizard I created two users:
Administrator and User (fairly obvious permissions - the
user can input/delete/add data but not modify design,
Administrator can obviously administrate as part of Admins
group). Now on my computer this system worked just fine.
When I go to my co-workers computer though the settings
aren't there and I often get an errors message- leading me
to believe the settings are saved on my computer itself
even though I created the settings on a database that was
shared over a network. On my own computer I made the
default admin user able to read/input data so now my co-
worker can open the database however none of the other
users exist over there.
How can I create security settings that will work no
matter who's computer it is opened from as long as it is
opened through the shared drive?
Thanks in advance for your help
