securitty centre missing

hi there i recently got a virus and the computer was fixed rebooted and the
llot and now there is now seecurit centre or windows ifrewall in the control
panel i tried downloading the thing that replaces the icons from microsoft
but it didnt work can someone please help coz im running without a firewall

If you cannot run those from these methods, then previous method will not help :

Start > Run > firewall.cpl
Start > Run > wscui.cpl

yeah it doesnt work it just says that windows cannot find watever u told me
to type in well what happened is i have windows xp proffesional and i got a
virus so i got it fixed and windows was reinstalled and now i dont have
security centre nor do i have a firewall icon in the control panel i also
dowloaded this thing from a link called
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/seccentericons.htm which is meant to replace the
icons but it doesnt work it is still missing

What ? WINdows was REinstalled. You said it was rebooted. Well, you have to install
SP2 for Security Center.

Also you need to install Anti-virus if you want to avoide another Infection
from the Internet beside the Windows Firewall.
