Securing formulas

Hi
Is there a way i can protect the formulas so that my users wont delete them when they delete the content of a cell? Secondly can i protect the file from being copied and used on other systems by others?

1. not sure what you mean with 'delete content but nor
formula'. ne cell can either store a formula (and will
show the formula result) or a manual entered value

You can protect cells with 'format - Cells - Protection -
Locked' and protect the worksheet ('Tools - Protection').
To prevent the deletion of a cell content (either formula
or value)

2 Preventing the file copy:
- though you may use some code to check for example the
harddisk ID of the used computer and close the file if
it's the wrong computerthis kind of protection can easily
be removed. You may explain what you goal behind this
protection is. Maybe using a password for accessing the
file is a better solution?
