Hello,
Using a form to change details in records, I have set a MsgBox action
on the Before Update property of the more important fields in the
form, ie surname postcode etc
Is there any way I can set this to operate when the user tries to
leave the form rather than the field, this would then only give one
message to check the changes when leaving the form, instead of a
message every time a field is left or moved on from . It is annoying
and not good practice having lots of confirmation messages for a user
changing several fields in the form, but I cannot find how to do it
better.

PS I have not posted this anywhere else, like my last request for
help. I did not know the two groups I used last time were related, so
it was as Chris Mills pointed out done innocently.
Anyway thak you to the previous respondents I have now suceeded with
the previous problem so the user group helped me greatly.
Regards David.

Use BeforeUpdate of the form, not the controls.
