Hi All

Can anyone point me towards an article or paper on secure
terminal services for application deployment across the
internet?

Also any improvements Win 2003 may offer in this regard?

Thanks in advance.

This one was almost too easy:

http://www.google.com/search?q=securing+terminal+services

But if you want the 10-second version...

- Always place your terminal server *behind a firewall*
- Use strong RDP encryption
- Enforce strong password policies
- Use IPSec or a VPN if you feel that it's necessary
- Restrict source addresses if practical
- Audit, audit, audit

Thanks Keith - some useful info

My clients could be anywhere on the internet so
restricting source addresses is not a option. Any info
on setting the VPN or IPSEC for Terminal services?

By the way - do u know if 2003 has better security or
features for Terminal Services?

Thanks Again
