Secure File Shredder

I down loaded the newest version of Gaint but it does not have the option
under advance tools of Secure File Shredder. Can anyone tell me where this
privacy tool has gone. It was in previous versions and I would like to use it
 
Microsoft doesn't provide this in their version of the product. I had
thought that there was a command-line command which had this ability, but I
can't find a reference to it. In any case, there are a great many
third-party utilities that claim this ability.
 
I have an earlier version of Gaint and it DOES have the Secure File Shredder
under the Advance Tools. Any thoughts????

Microsoft is changing the product to focus on the primary mission--removing
spyware, and to reduce the support surface--as a free application, the
support burden needs to be as low as possible and as related to the primary
mission. I really can't speak for them or for the team creating Windows
Defender--the Microsoft version that we'll see when beta2 is available--but
that's my take on what is happening--there are a number of original Giant
features that aren't there anymore.
