For some reason, the option to turn on/ off the "Require
users to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete before logging on." is not
checked and is grayed out. I have checked my registry
setting in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\Sec
ureBoot and it is set to 1. I am not sure when this
occured, and I have tried reinstalling Win2k to no avail.
Any suggestions? Possible security risk?

Paul

Where is it greyed out? Did you check the setting in Local Security Policy
security options. --- Steve

The area greyed out is in Settings - Control Panel -
Users - Advanced tab. I will check this out. I assume the
option should be enabled or Nor Defined?

Make sure you are logged an as a local administrator. It should be
disable if you want ctr-alt-dlte at logon and enabled if you do not want it
as a requirement. --- Steve

That wored. Thanks for the help.
