section break shows up on page when printing

How can I get the words "section break (next page)" not
to show up when I print a word document?
 
Do you mean show up on the screen or show up on the piece of paper that
gets printed? I've never seen Word print its formatting codes. If you
are actually getting those words printed out, try asking here:
news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.word.printingfonts

If you just don't want to see "section break" (and other formatting
codes) on the screen, switch to "Print Layout View" AND turn off the
 
Try: File, Print, Options button. Remove check marks from "Field Codes".
