I ask this question in the "General", but I think it belongs here.

I am trying the change the security settings in Vista and when I type:
secpol.msc

At the command line: I get: MMC could not create the snap-in.

When I try to do it manually, I get the message below.

Can someone help?

Thanks.

It would have been better to crosspost instead of multipost. You already
got a request for clarification in the other group. The question was
-what version of Vista are you running? Because Vista Home editions -
like XP Home before it - do not have secpol.msc in them.
