Hello All,
We have a Primary and Secondary DNS servers that serve multiple zones.
Both the servers are Win2000 and are patched-up with latest updates. The
problem we are facing is, if the Primary server goes down the secondary
server is able to server requests until a reboot. When the Secondary comes
back online it is looking for a Zone file on the primary server, since the
primary is already down it is not able to find the zone file and fails to
serve any DNS requests.
Is there a way around this? May be Win2003 can handle this situation
well....................
Any comments or thoughts...............................
Thanks,
-Pavan
