secondary backup DC's

I have a DC in a hosting center and another located across the country.
I need the one DC to be a backup/secndary but remaining in the same
domain. How can I achieve this securely? Do I setup the IPSEC between
the two boxes and is there a how to in doing this?

IPSec is the most secure. A PPTP VPN is a piece of cake to set up if it
satisfies your security requirements.

And best might be a VPN using L2TP which uses IPSec for the
encryption.

VPNs (PPTP & L2TP) are a bit easier to setup than RAW IPSec;
and L2TP with IPSec is more secure than the older PP2P even
though it is EVEN easier (as Kurt mentions) than L2TP.
