second printer

I'd like to add a second printer. Should I first select "add a printer" or
should I first install the driver for the second printer?
 
Add a printer, then select printer type and select printer driver,
your new printer will now show up on the printer/fax page.
When you get ready to print, it should drop down a menu to select which
printer you want to use.
 
Follow instructions with the printer, eg many usb printers require software
installation before the printer is connected. Do it wrong and it might not
work

Add a printer lets you install the driver as part of doing so.
 
Install the second printer as per the printer manufacturer's specific
instructions.
