I have had this error on the same machine in the past. Only the top and
left 2 or 3 inches of certain reports are showing and are magnified to fill
the whole screen. Zooming only zooms this particular area.

This also happens on print preview for these particular reports.

What is causing this? A distant developer does not get this result on their
machine (same db).

When Access prepares the report, it uses information from the printer driver
to calculate sizes. If the printer driver is faulty, the calculations will
be wrong.

The solution is to get an updated driver for the printer that is giving you
this issue. Alternatively, use a different printer.

That's it!!! But the solution turned out to be easier. Using your
suggestion, I just cycled default printer to specific printer to default
printer, fixing the problem. Thanks for the answer. : - )

Monte, that's very interesting.

If all you did was change the Printer to another, and then changed it back,
I wonder if Access was storing bad information about the printer? It might
do that if you have Name AutoCorrect on, and if so it would be interesting
to know if turning it off and compacting would have the same effect.

I don't know why my post is not showing in this thread Allen but I think
the issue I explain is one and the same.

This is a documented issue with reports saved to SNP(Snapshot) format. I
have never heard of this issue applying to a standard Report though.
Anyhow the issue is explained in a previous post of mine below.

It is a resolution issue. Every other time this issue has come up it has
been because either :

1) A Report is exported to Snapshot with the Default printer selected as
the "Specific Printer" but with a current resolution selected lower than
the default setting.(think about it<grin>)
or
2) The Report was corrupted. Export it to another MDB and then re-Import
it.

It has always been one of the above issues. I'm open to new things but
I'll put my money on #1.
