second hdd

hi,

i have a 100gb hdd installed and use winXP. i want to install a second hdd
200gb. when i install the 2nd drive after formatting (only 1 partition, eg.
drive i) can i copy everything from hdd 1 to hdd 2 and then boot the pc from
hdd 2 and remove all content from hdd 1 and make hdd 2 the main drive?

No!

You'd need to use cloning software . It might even have come with your new
drive.

If not, use a utility such as Acronis

Follow the instructions *exactly* and you should have no problems

I did something similar, but I left drive 2 just for my data, pagefile,
tempfile, etc.
Raoul, Could you describe the process you used to accomplish this, please?
