I placed a harddrive in my pc. Windows XP recognise the drive. The only
problem is that I do not see the drive in Explore and other programs.

The drive has no station name.

How can I solve the problem?

You have not given us much to go on, more info might be
useful.

Did/does it have data on it? (Data that you need to keep)?

Has it ever been formatted or held data?
If not, try right-clicking on it in "My Computer" and format
it.

Most probably it'll help installing the most recent scsi driver. Aplies to
all sata hd's and harddrives that is mounted on other controllers than IDE0
and IDE1, thet typical means raid controllers.

Format the drive.

Open control panel, admin tools, coputer management, storage, disk
management and partition and format the drive.
