HEllo all,

I need help.

I installed a second Harddrive in my Win XP PC. Following
Problem:

- XP only sees 32 GB of the HDD Capacity off 120 GB !
- Also i cant resize his partition..!!

Is there a possibility to use Fdisk (old versions) in
XP ? I need to delet the whole partition. If i do so ,
windows still see the 32 GB istead of 120 !

What is here the problem ??

Thanks for your help guys !!!!

Use fdisk from a Windows 98 startup floppy if you want FAT32.

Format in XP as NTFS.

Find out from your computer supplier the maximum size drive that it will
handle.
It may be that even with the latest Bios for your machine there is still a
limitation.
My computer, even with the latest Bios, is limited to 60 GB but this was
overcome by installing a PCI controller card which has enabled the full
potential of my new drives. It also provides a further connector for yet two
more drives!

Richard.
