second email not downloading to outlook 2003

I have set up a second email address with my ISP which I have successfully
used to send email, however the incoming email sits in my ISP mailbox and
doesn't download into outlook 2003. Can anyone help?
 
Does it download when you move it to another folder on the server and then
back into the Inbox folder?
Do you get any send/receive errors?

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
