Second calendar's reminder

I have two calendar folders in outlook. The default one
and a second one outside of Outlook Today. The first my
personal, and the second the business. If I set an
appointment in my personal calendar the alarm works as
intended, quite the opposite if I set a reminder in my
business calendar. It warns me that the reminder will not
work because the calendar is not in my default one. Is
there a way to make the reminders work, irrespective of
which calendar it has been set in? Thank you.
 
Outlook will only fire reminders from the default Inbox, Calendar, Tasks and
Contacts folders in your default mail store (where you get your email
delivered). Items with reminders in all other folders will only turn red
when the reminder is due or overdue. To receive reminders from any other
folders you would have to use a 3rd party Outlook addin.
