I have this along with the elite toolbar on my computer.
The beta detects this, but it comes back right after it
is deleted and is detected when I run again! Does anyone
know how to get rid of this????? I would appreciate it!

I had a similar problem. I found the solution in a posting
in the online community forum. The description there
matched what was on my machine, which didn't quite match
the Symantec description. There were several files called
elitexxx32.exe, where xxx is three random letters, in the
C:\Windows\system32 folder. There was also an entry in the
HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/current version/ run part
of the registry called antiware and pointing to one of the
files. Deleting these, then re-running antispyware seemed
to solve the problem.

Thanks--using the tools, system tools, system explorers, and examining the
startup list should find that entry, and you can choose to block it, which
is reversable.

Same happens to me Alyssa. Has anyone answer your
question?

Cheers,
