If anyone can help me, I would GREATLY appreciate it.
I have successfully gotten rid of a lot of spyware with
the MS beta. HOWEVER, the above named trojan will not go
away, no matter how many times I scan, remove and receive
message that program was successful in removing.
Can I go into the C drive and manually delete the
registry keys that are infected? Or will that royally
mess up my computer?
E.g. of an infected registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\current
version\Run Antiware
Can I go ahead and just manually delete this?
Or what else could I try?
I'm about to try disabling system restore and scanning in
safe mode and we'll see if that helps. Any other ideas
though? This trojan's main purpose is to download MORE
spyware onto my computer and I'm going insane!
Thanks in advance,
Stormy
