The search function in FP2002 is showing a reference to a page that was
deleted some time ago. The page no longer exists on the server according to
the host nor on my computer as far as I can tell.
I've deleted my temporary internet files and cookies and history and the
page is still listed when I do a search.
Why is this happening and how can I remove the problem?
Many thanks.

Open your remote web via FrontPage. Go to Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks.
Do this any time you make page changes to your web.

If you are hosted on a Windows IIS server running Index Server, ask the host to delete the Index
Catalog and create a new one for your site.
