Hi! Hopefully someone can help me here, its starting to
drive me insane. My folders option is set to "explore"
as a default, which is what i want. So whenever i open
my computer the explorer window comes up on the left, and
the contents are displayed on the right. HERES what
sucks.... when i doubleclick a folder on the right, a
search is performed. the only way to open it is to right
click on it, scroll down past search (written in bold)
and select explore.

what can i do to change this. Thanks for any support.
its driving me nuts=:-(

Same is documented by Microsoft:

Search Companion Starts If You Double-Click a Folder
