When I try and find a web site using the search box e.g www.bbc.co.uk nothing
happens when I hit "Go" or " enter". This did not used to happen. If however
I tap in www.bbc.co.uk into Google it brings up the search results and I can
access this site by clicking on the hyperlink shown on the google search page.

I have checked the setting on Internet Options and the box is checked titled
"search and go straight to the most lilkely page".

Can anybody help ?

Cannot recall about the process being in any other way
except, perhaps, for reflexively hitting the Enter key
after typing in the web site's URL. And the process is
same for Google...type in the search item followed by
the Enter key. From my observation of users, very few of
the heavy users would type in a box and then reach for
the mouse; almost all stay with the keyboard navigation.

Thanks for response I have tried using the "Enter" button on the keyboard but
sadly this does not work either. I'm still would appreciate any further ideas
you have but it sounds like I may have picked up a bug that needs clearence.
