Searching specific folders

Hi, does anyone else have the problem that the new search function only
allows them to search high-level folders (i.e. My Computer, My Documents,
Desktop, My Pictures or My Music) and not specific folders (e.g. if I know
something's on C I can't search only C). It's really frustrating - any help
is much appreciated!!!
 
Click Start/Search/Change Preferences
Now you'll have all sorts of preferences to search by.
