searching ... lost thumbnail view

when using search feature in left ... i use to have thumbnail views in the
right/main screen ... however ... for no apparent reason the thumbnails are
no longer there ... i have tried everything to restore them to no avail ...
reset privacy settings, etc. ... don't have any option at the bottom of the
screen to view thumbnails which i read on line should be available ... i'm
stumped ... can anyone assist? ... thanks much
 
That feature was removed from IE's default Search several months ago with no
explanation, mona.
 
I had no idea ... This feature just stopped working for me a few days ago ...

The help page is implying that the Search Preview feature still exists.
Perhaps you just need to be logged in to Live Search first to use it?

BTW you may get a more informed answer in a newsgroup which
specializes in that search service. Cross-posting to one where more
