searching from the address bar

when searching from the address bar it goes to a web site
global finds.com when i click on search in the toolbar
the window opens on the left, but it brings up another
search engine with a small box that says powered by kl.
can any one help me correct this problem?

I have simliar problem. I desire to change the default
search provider for Search Companion but Change
Preferences does not appear when I click on Search on the
toolbar. Neither Article 303210 nor 303226 were any help.
