If i wanted to search for the word 'man' in my emails, it will return results
for 'man' together with any word that has 'man' within a word for example
'manchester' 'mangle' 'barman'
I only want to see results for 'man' - is this possible in outlook 2003?
I have tried inserting spaces with both " and * but that does not work.
Fingers crossed

Outlook searches are substring searches and there are no wildcards. If you
want the word "man" as a stand-aloine word, then you'll need to include the
spaces before and after. You might also need to specify " man" if you
suspect there might be puctuation immediately following "man", such as a
period. OIf course, that will also fine " manual".
