In Word 2000, I used to be able to type in a documnet name
and a list of similar document names would show up. I
does not do that in Word 2002. Is there a way to change
that???

It doesn't work that way anymore. KB Article 314126
refers. You can use * fairly effectively to narrow the
list.

try in normal template from windows explorer. i had a
lot of trouble with a previous computer and i found the
auto text in normal under templates.
