That is the ONLY message ever received from it. It is repeated at
semi-random intervals. Relatively harmless as spam goes.

Any advertising in a non-commercial group is spam. This is a non-commercial
group. These guys post about once a month, as CBFalconer said, fairly
harmless for spammers but spam non-the-less. There are 'wanted' and 'for
sale' groups for that sort of thing.

On its own merit, though, I don't consider it spam...not any more than
www.pricewatch.com
But, if its repetitive, I guess you could call it spam.
