Hello
I am trying to find files using Windows XP search I go to:
Search all files and folders
All or part the file name
At this point, I enter the word “bra.” I get a list of 300 files that contain any word that has bra in it, such as bracket, embracing, and liBRAry. However, I wanted to just for “bra” itself only. I went into the advanced search to see if I could specify ONLY the word bra alone in the file name, no luck.
I tried searching the net and couldn’t find an answer. I did come across reference to lots of programs that allow enhanced searching doing fancy things like searching through email much better than outlook, searching faster, or searching through files. I have not downloaded any because none mentions having this particular search feature I want and I don’t want have to install & uninstall a bunch of programs looking for one that will work. Does anyone know a program that can do this or a way to do this in Windows XP Pro?
Thanks in advance for any help
Angel
