Hi,

I'm searching on a particular meeting with the same name that happens each
month. The search is working, but when I search for something else, the
previous search is returned along with the new search.

How can I ensure that when I search, previous search results are not
displayed as well? I'm running Outlook 2007 Sp1 and Vista

Thanks

are you clearing the old search? are you using the search box in the
calendar window or advanced find?

Hi Diane,

I'm using the 'search Calendar' box in Calendar. I can 't see how to clear
the search?...

are erasing the old search terms then typing a new search in the field, or
clicking the little x to clear it? it shouldn't matter either way, as long
as you type over the old search terms so they aren't included in the new
search.

In the calendar I'm searching on, it has a series of meetings called 'meeting
a' and 'meeting b'. When I click on the 'search calendar' box and type in
'meeting a', all results starting with 'meeting' are displayed, namely
'meeting a' and 'meeting b'. Obviously this is not what I want. It's as if
the it's is searching using a wildcard.

If I erase the old search items (meeting a) and replace it with a new search
(meeting b) then all the items begining with 'meeting' are shown as above.

It just doesn't appear to be clearing the 'cache'.

if the keywords are the same in both queries, it's because of the way
outlook searches. It's looking for "meeting" or "a" and then "meeting" or
"b" unless you use quotes: "meeting a" and "meeting b"
