Search_glow / pdf files

Hi can anyone please advise on how I get rid of the search glow that keeps
popping up on my task manager
my internet is shutting down all the time
I have ran checks but nothing is detecting anything I have removed windows
live toolbar but problems are keep on occuring on my internet explorer
When I try to open pdf files on the internet they are freezing

please advise
