Seems odd, but if I put a phrase in quotation marks to
search for, i get an error message. Take away the
quotation marks, and it works but won't search for the
phrase. Can anybody help? Reginald Boenig

That syntax will work with Google Groups but it won't work
with the search tool that you get with your (cough) news reader.
It also won't work with Outlook Express but at least when you
search for phrases it won't treat them as OR conditions.

BTW please try to use more descriptive Subjects.
You are more apt to be ignored by posting with such generic
ones.
