XP can search for unicode text, but the 2K folder search doesn't support
it. (It does create unicode log files though, which is pretty stupid, no?)
FIND does unicode, but FINDSTR does not. So the only option using included
software is to make a batch file that recurses folders and uses FIND to
search each one. Awfully messy and a lot less convenient.
Googling for unicode text search mainly turns up exterprise-level search
engines. Is there a simple utility out there that can do a unicode text
search like Windows Explorer in XP?
