Thanks gentlemen for trying.BUT,
I wasn't talking about the "address bar".
It's the one below:

"SEARCH THE WEB". This the one I like to know how to
delete
entries that drop down when you click on the arrow.
Now, can anybody help?
 
Highlight the text string and press the DEL key in the drop down control
box.
This is cannot be done in the address bar for URLs.
