For some reason, the default browser activated when I
click the "Search the Web" button is "http:///", which
obviously brings up an error message. I can't find any way
to change the default setting for this button
You can change the URL in the registry;
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search]
