When I do a Google search, the results are displayed in blue
characters.
After I select a result, Google takes me to its source.
Then, when I look at the results again, the previously-selected result
has grey characters.

Question #1: Since blue characters and grey characters are difficult
to tell apart, how can I get the previously-selected results to have
grey characters and the not-yet-selected results to have red
characters?

Question #2: Why do previously-selected results turn from grey to blue
(as if they haven't been previously-selected)?

Tools - Internet Options - General tab - Colors - lets you decide what
unvisited links and visited links are colored as.

Ron,

I did Tools - Internet Options - General tab - Colors and selected
grey for the visited sites and red for the unvisited sites and clicked
"OK" and "OK".

However, the visited sites and the unvisited sights are still in the
previous colors.

Then, I thought may be the color-changes wouldn't affect my PREVIOUS
searches (only NEW ones). So I did a new search for a different
phrase and got new results. I then visited one of the sites.
However, the previous colors still remain.

Suggestions?

We seem to have hit a stalemate. I was under the impression that was what
decided and I have always used it for this - but - I am colorblind and can't
quite tell if it works for me or not. I'll do some investigating to see
what else I might be able to offer. 8^)
