OrgName: AT&T WorldNet Services

I "believe" the search feature will only operate
on a web contained on 1 server.

Steve,

Thank you for the help. You are correct. The web is running on two servers
and I believe that running on one server will be better. but the web does
support fp. also it had worked for half year. I just remove them into
another server. in the other words, if I point search page back to the old
server ip, it will work. I believe that must be way to fix the problem.

Jim,

thank you for the help. I followed the instruction, but can't fix the
problem. according to the article, the idq points to c:\inetpub. that is
correct. and that is my search page located. For the test, I also pointed to
the ip like http:\\ip. But that didn't fix the problem. any further
suggestion?
