Hello! This is my first time posting to anything like
this so please bear with me. I am having a problem with
my IE6 that is driving me crazy. Somehow, something got
into my computer that makes IE6 start up with the Search
Button enabled. Now, it only does it the very first time
I start IE for the day...once I disable the button, it
stays gone. But each time I shut down the computer, start
it back up and then get on IE it'r right back. Yes, I
have done everything to adjust the settings on the
browser, etc as I am pretty computer-savvy, but this
problem has me stumped. The Search feature that comes up
isn't even one that is in my settings, so I have no idea
what this is. Norton says that everything is OK on my
system and no viruses have been detected. Does anyone
have any ideas? You can feel free to email me privately,
but I am having mouth surgery this morning, so may not
answer till tomorrow or Friday.
Thanks SO much!
Kati
