A number of times I have tried all the suggestions for erasing my
search list, and it is all still there. Help, please!

I am using Google with internet explorer.

Hmm... Open IE, click tools, options, click on content, click on
autocomplete, click on clear forms? That doesn't take care of it? From the
search box at Google? What happens if you hightlight one and press the
delete button then? And if you've tried all the suggestions, well, that'd
mean there's nothing more to do? <g>

Yep, I did all that, including the highlighting plus delete button..
Nothing... I finally got a free subscription to Window Washer. It
took off the bottom few items on the search list; not all. Go
figure....

I'd recommend avoiding automated registry cleaning applications so skip that
part of this but there's an app called crap cleaner that you might want to
give a try:

CCleaner - Crap Cleaner free software download - Spyware FREE:
