Search Is Gone

Running XP Home SP2

My search is gone. I go into Explorer and press the Search button.
The button depresses, but nothing happens.

How so I get my search back, please?

No Search Results Are Returned After You Disable Search Results

Go here http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Scroll to line 15 then
look to the right side were it says "Disable Search Assistant - Undo". click
on Undo to download a small file that when double clicked should restore the
search function.
