Search History

Hello:
I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to get
rid of search history. The files pop up in my history
sidebar no matter how many times I delete temporary file,
cookies and close the browser. I even did a search, found
the file, deleted it and it pops back up in the search.
Any suggestions will be apreciated. Thanks! wendog
