Please help......

The URL of my website is www.vira-mycosis.741.com

When I type the following search text in the Google's search engine,
namely -"Vira-mycosis"; without the quotation marks, the very first entry
and several similar entries which follow, display the following: "RE: error
URL-index.htm not on this web"

My HOME page in my local web is index.html. I do not know why???

Will re-naming this local file to index.htm and re-publishing my local web
to my remote site solve the problem with the Google search engine's error
message? It is important to me that my remote site be accessible to a Google
Search engine. Thank you.

Have you registered your domain name? It doesn't seem to be anywhere
reachable from my ISP, plus there's no "whois" info.

Tis because Google has indexed a page from a newgroup reader that has an
incorrect link to your web.

Please. How may this be corrected so that Google will list my website [
vira-mycosis.741.com ] in their search engine with appropriate keywords that
I have written in my local codes page.

Thank you.

Those are search results from Google indexing newsgroups which have a copy of a message your posted
regarding your missing home page.

You can not do anything to change what has already been indexed.

As I said, there is nothing you can do to change the search engine index of your content posted to a
public newsgroup.
