SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND

I'm having trouble using the file search function. I wanted to backup my pst
file, but couldn't find it using each of the following:

*.pst
Outlook
Outlook.pst

The file is actually named outlook.pst

What the h*ll is going on that it doesn't locate my file??

Have you set Search to show hidden files and folders?

Thanks. I did eventually find the file.
However, I wish I could work the find feature.

XP search is kind of lame.
It has all these useless bells and whistles,
yet it doesn't even have the ability to *not* search
zip files - unless you unregister a dll first.
Who signed off on that?
The interface is weird and it's as slow as molasses.
I've never seen anybody actually defend it.

Many use and have recommended
