Hello,

I have a database that I thought up untill today was
working fine. It has 3 tabs of information, and two
subforms. When I use the 'built in' search function, with
a command button, it doesn't search all the fields and
tables. What I'd like to have it one search button that
will search through certain things in all of my tables (I
have three of them). Is this something that is possible?
I am not that familiar with the coding part of Access, so
I'm not all that advanced. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Thomas

Thought I should add a little bit about how the data
displays:

There is the main form, that pulls from table A
Then there is subform1 that pulls from table B
and subform2 that pulls from table C.

The main form is 'linked' to the two subforms so if I
look up a name in the main form, it will display all the
information in table A, as well as any info B and C has
on that same name.

So, what I want a search function to do is search through
all these tables.

Thanks again,
Tom
