search for records

I want to build a form that allows the user to input "name," "agency,"
"address," "phone," etc. as search criteria and then click "find record" to
bring up the corresponding entry. I want that particular entry to then open
in it's form. What is the best way to do this?

You may want to look into the help file for "Create A Filter" The look for
"Filter By Form"

On the menu, you can choose "Records" ... "Filter" ... "Filter By Form" and
see if that will do what you want. If not, you can build a custom form to
filter your records.
